Pickler, who was born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June of 1986, experienced an extremely difficult childhood. Her mother left her at the age of two in order to get out of an abusive relationship. Her return to Pickler's life in 1995 and became the mother of her. The situation did not work out as expected. Pickler was reunited with her parents when she was twelve years old. They helped them through adulthood. Pickler needed to look after of her siblings without her parents. She stated that her time was limited and she learned how to care for her family at a young age. Pickler was a member of the cheerleading teams of both her middle-school and high-school. North Stanly High School in 2004. Pickler is also a beauty pageant contestant.
