Sharni Vinson made her debut as an actress in 2001 as she appeared in a role as a character in Home and Away, a soap opera based in Australia. Because of her outstanding performance that she got the chance to perform one of the main roles. However, she did submit an audition for the role but she wasn't selected. Instead, during the same episode she played the role of Cassie turner who was an unruly teenager in foster care.
