Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American actress and writer best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island during the 1960s. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first stage role in the 50s. Then she appeared in several Broadway productions before she became a star on national stage alongside Li'l Abner in. The same year, She made her debut album of music It's Time to Tina. Louise made her debut on the screen in Hollywood as God's Little Acre, a film released in 1958. She performed the role of Griselda the main character of the film. In this time, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her teacher. Her next memorable role came with the year 1964, when she enrolled with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise Balfour continued to successfully juggle between Broadway as well as Hollywood portraying somber character as against her famous image as an attractive doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the past couple of years she has also made an impact as an accomplished director on various well-known television shows including Supernatural or The 100. Her family moved out of Essex to Toronto, where she spent growing up and in adolescence. She settled in Vancouver after she was selected for the role of Samantha Carter.
